Nicole Lee
CAT (C), PERSONAL TRAINER
I’ve always been involved in sports growing up, practically tried every sport that school had to offer (not always excelling). Although I dabbled in a little bit of everything, I truly found a passion for dance and competed in all genres for 7 years – so needless to say physical wellbeing has been a fundamental aspect of my life.
Coming out of high school I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon. As you can see that did not happen! However, during my time at the University of Waterloo I learned that there was an opportunity to combine my interest in sports with my interest in injury rehabilitation.
Fast forward to now, I have completed my degree in Kinesiology as well as degree in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan college and am officially a Certified Athletic Therapist. Through those 8 years of learning I had an opportunity to work with multiple sports teams such as the Waterloo Warriors Football team, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, TMU Bold Men’s hockey, and now Ontario Lacrosse and the OJHL Burlington Cougars. And if you thought 8 years was too many years of school – just wait – I love to learn and am continually looking for ways that I can improve my practice!
I have spent a lot of time in varsity settings and believe that anyone should be able to experience the level of therapy and personal training that athletes have available to them, so I hope to be able to provide these services to you!
